Comparisons & Property-Specific Questions
-
GENESIS – Station offers Class A life science infrastructure comparable to leading South San Francisco and Mission Bay buildings, with several distinct advantages: a five-minute walk to BART (most SSF properties require a car or shuttle), access to employees commuting from North, South, and East Bay, and a cost basis that is typically more efficient than core SSF and Mission Bay submarkets. The building's I-280 visibility and proximity to UCSF and Stanford make it a strong alternative for growth-stage companies that want Bay Area lab space without the premium of core clusters.
-
GENESIS – Station is designed for life science companies at a range of growth stages, from early-stage startups (Series Seed and Series A) entering their first professional lab at 5,000 RSF, through growth-stage biotechs (Series B and beyond) scaling into 17,000, 27,000, or full-floor configurations. The suite range (approximately 5,000 to 48,000 RSF), flexible lab infrastructure, and in-building growth pathway are aligned with companies that want to stay in one location as they scale. Contact for latest availability.
-
Yes. GENESIS – Station has direct visibility along the I-280 corridor, providing brand exposure for tenants to Bay Area commuters traveling between San Francisco and the Peninsula.
-
GENESIS – Station is differentiated by its operator, not just its specs. Tenants lease directly from Phase 3 Real Estate Partners, a boutique life science operator backed by Bain Capital Real Estate, which means decisions on expansions, renewals, tenant improvements, and infrastructure changes are made by leadership — not committee. That operating model is paired with three tangible building advantages: scalability within a single 400,000 RSF property, with suite sizes from 5,000 to 48,000 RSF allowing tenants to grow without relocating; a five-minute walk to Daly City BART, rare for Bay Area lab product; and the GENESIS Spec Lab Program, with pre-built lab suites and building infrastructure upgrades already completed, so tenants can move in and expand without construction delays. The result is a building that performs like institutional Class A space but executes like a boutique platform.
